Daniel Deusser (b. 1981) started to ride as a child. He tried out many different sports and was even selected for the BMX regional championships.

Daniel began his riding career at the age of 19 alongside several great people such as Siegfried Herrder and Franke Sloothaak.

In 2002, he represented Germany for the first time at the European Young Rider Championships. Daniel moved to the Netherlands, and in 2012 he joined Stephex stables.  With Cornet d’Amour, Daniel Deusser won the 2014 FEI World Cup Final in Lyon and finished 3rd in 2016.

Daniel won team bronze at the Rio Olympic Games with First Class Van Eeckelghem and since then a lot of wins have followed. Particularly outstanding is his victory at World Cup in Bordeaux in 2019, but also in Mechelen, and more recently at the Al Shaqab Grand Prix. Daniel is currently placed number 9 on the World Ranking List.
