From Sweden to Germany

Kittel currently resides in Eulenhof, Germany, where he runs the sales and competition stable Outstanding Stables with his Australian wife Lyndal Oatley. Patrik moved to Germany to pursue a childhood dream of a professional career in equestrian sports. He started working for Klaus-Martin Rath, where he acted as an all-rounder by grooming, riding, and a number of other tasks.

He then moved to Klaus Balkehol, where he further developed his skills in the sport. For several years now he has been running his own business and has a number of successful competition horses in his stable.

Several times Olympic participant

During his successful career, Patrik Kittel has trained over 40 horses up to Grand Prix level and for several years has been a regular member of the Swedish national dressage team. He has participated in the Olympic Games three times and has several Swedish championship titles to his name.

Kittel in the saddle on Danish top horses

The Swedish top rider has taken over several Danish horses in the last six months. In the late summer he got his hands on the three-time world champion Fiontini by Fassbinder, but it was a short success when the mare was sold to American Anna Buffini in October. Then last year he took over the reins of the Blue Hors Zack son Blue Hors Zepter. Most recently, it has been Anna Kasprzak‘s Grand Prix horse Fuhur 6 by Fürstenreich. You can read more about it HERE
