Britiske Charlotte Dujardin har vundet utallige medaljer ved EM, VM og OL i dressur, så det må siges at være noget af et scoop for Herning2022 – de har netop meddelt, at den 35-årige rytter er officiel ambassadør for VM i Herning i 2022.

Som en del af vores officielle ambassadørteam vil vi gerne præsentere dig for Charlotte Dujardin – som vi er meget stolte af at have på teamet. Charlotte er en meget talentfuld britisk atlet, som er kendt for at være en af de mest succesfulde dressurryttere nogensinde! En af hendes mange storslåede præstationer var til Europamesterskaberne i Herning, Danmark 2013, hvor hun vandt flere guldmedaljer sammen med hendes populære vallak Valegro også kendt som “Blueberry”! Måske er hun i stand til at gøre det igen på præcis samme stadion i 2022?
Vi er stolte af at præsentere vores første ambassadør i rækken af officielle ambassadører for VM Herning 2022. Mød Stinna Tange, vores danske para dressur Dronning, som har vundet et imponerende antal af medaljer igennem årene, senest ved Verdensmesterskaberne i 2018, hvor hun vandt en flot guldmedalje
Patrik Kittel – dressur
Den næste ambassadør i rækken til at repræsentere ECCO FEI World Championships Herning – Denmark 2022 er ingen andre end fantastiske svenske dressurrytter: Patrik Kittel. Vi er meget stolte af at have Patrik med på holdet, og det er en ære at have en så unik personlighed som et af ansigterne udadtil for Herning2022. Patrik har deltaget i flere Olympiske Lege og Mesterskaber gennem årene med imponerende resultater, senest med en bronzemedalje for hold ved Europamesterskaberne i 2019

Roger-Yves Bost – springning
Vi er stolte af at introducere jer til vores næste officielle ambassadør for Herning2022: Roger-Yves Bost. Den franske springrytter har været i spillet i mange år, og vandt hans første guldmedalje til de europæiske mesterskaber tilbage i 1983! En anden verdensklasse præstation var til de europæiske mesterskaber i Herning, Danmark 2013, hvor han endnu en gang tog guldet! Måske er han i stand til at gøre det igen på præcis samme stadion i 2022?

Sheena Bendixen – voltigering

Placeret som nummer 5 på FEI’s verdensrangliste for kvindelige voltigører, og med en sejr i den individuelle kür til WEG I Tryon 2018 for kvinder, er hun en af de bedste kvindelige voltigører vi har

Cathrine Dufour – dressur
Vi er meget stolte af at præsentere Cathrine Dufour som en del af Det Officielle Ambassadørteam hos ECCO FEI World Championships Herning – Denmark 2022. Trods hendes unge alder har Cathrine været en stor del af den internationale dressurelite som repræsentant for Danmark i mange år, og har begge sine topheste Atterupgaards Cassidy & Bohemian i top10 på FEI’s verdensrangliste i dressur.

Andreas Schou – springning
Næste i rækken af officielle ambassadører, der repræsenterer Herning2022, er danske springrytter Andreas Schou. Andreas har repræsenteret Danmark til Mesterskaber og Nations Cup’er over hele verden, og har vundet hele 9 guldmedaljer til de Danske Mesterskaber både som ung- og seniorrytter, ligesom han har vundet 3 guldmedaljer til de Nordiske Mesterskaber

Dorothee Schneider – dressur
Vi er stolte af at introducere jer for vores næste officielle ambassadør for Herning2022: Dorothee Schneider den tyske dressurdronning, som har repræsenteret Tyskland og været aktiv på dressurscenen i mange år! Til de Olympiske lege i 2012 og 2016 tog hun flere medaljer med hjem i både individuelle – og hold konkurrencer.
Douglas Lindelöw – springning
Vi er meget stolte af at præsentere Douglas Lindelöw som en del af Det Officielle Ambassadørteam hos ECCO FEI World Championships Herning – Denmark 2022. Den unge svenske springrytter har allerede haft stor verdensomspændende succes og konkurreret til flere FEI World Cups og FEI Nations Cups samt vundet medaljer med hans hold – senest til Europamesterskaberne i 2017! Vi ser frem til at kunne byde Douglas velkommen i Danmark i 2022.

ECCO FEI World Championships Herning (DEN) will be held in August of 2022, and the event is going to be the largest international equestrian championship ever held in Denmark. Although still awaiting confirmation, it’s most probable that the competitions in Jumping and Dressage will include the qualifications for the 2024 Paris Olympic.
The World Championships are conducted in Jumping, Dressage, Para Dressage and Vaulting in August 2022, and arenas corresponding five football pitches must be established on the extensive outdoor area at MCH – exhibition and experience center Herning. The Danish company Skibby HC A/S, based in Zealand, has been appointed as official supplier of the footing for all equestrian arenas at the championships.
– We are very pleased with our collaboration with Skibby HC with whom we have had a very satisfactory four-year collaboration on the arenas for the stallion licensing in Herning and the World Cup in Herning. It has been of major importance in the process that both the product and the collaboration turned out right, say Casper Cassøe who is co-organiser of the event together with Jens Trabjerg.
Show arenas must be built in the Stutteri Ask Stadium, in arena II outside the stadium and inside the Jyske Bank Boxen. In addition, several warm-up and training arenas will be made available all over the showgrounds. Riding arenas covering an area of a total of 36,000 m2 need to be established.
– We are very proud to be chosen as ”Official footing supplier” for Herning2022, and we are very much looking forward to the collaboration with Casper Cassøe and Jens Trabjerg and not least our partner Otto Arena Systems GmbH, Janus Haubroe from Skibby HC A/S states. – We have seen that everyone is standing together in many ways which is particularly pleasing in these difficult times, and we really look forward to the World Championships in August 2022, concludes Casper Cassøe.
Skibby HC A/S is a dealer of the world-renowned Otto Arena Systems GmbH, which is one of the largest suppliers of riding arenas in the world. Otto Arena Systems manufactures i.a. the world’s most widely used riding arena mats. A close collaboration with Otto Arena Systems has enabled Skibby HC A/S to submit their bid. According to scientific studies, the Otto perforated mat absorbs up to 40% of the impact energy from the horses’ hooves, and this protects the horse’s locomotor system.This mat is the only one in the world that has a scientifically proven effect, according to the supplier.
In August 2022, the area at Stutteri Ask Stadium, Arena II and Jyske Bank Boxen will be the centre of the world’s largest equestrian event – the World Championships in four disciplines. In addition to the equestrian sport in the show arenas, the event offers a wide range of experiences for the audience such as live stages, adventures and side events.
“We are really looking forward to the collaboration. The World Championships will be so much more than what goes on in the competition arenas. We will present happenings and passion far beyond the ordinary and together with Zibrasport Equest we have a vision to share these experiences and this passion with the rest of the world. Not everyone gets the opportunity to be present in Herning but through the collaboration with Zibrasport Equest, everyone still gets the opportunity to participate”, says Casper Cassøe, one of the organizers of the World Championships 2022.
Take part at a distance
Millions of equestrian enthusiasts all over the world will be following the competitions at the ECCO FEI World Championships Herning Denmark 2022 through their TV screens. But the world championships will be much more than the competitions in the arenas.
“At Zibrasport Equest, together with the organizers, we create a community where everyone can become part of the World Championships – both up to and during the championships. Among other things, we will offer a broad variety of World Championships content in writing, sound and images, as well as content formats where everybody can be involved and become part of the World Championships. During the championships, you will be able to watch top jumping and dressage from the showground as well as experiencing the world championship atmosphere up close – e.g., from the World Championships live studio, lots of backstage content and various events on the Zibrasport Equest stage at the showground. We are confident that the organizers will create the best world championships ever, and we are looking forward to working with them to invite everyone to be part of the journey”, says Rikke Højgaard, editor-in-chief of Zibrasport Equest.

Helt tæt på
Selvom event- og tilskuerpladserne kommer til at boble af liv og oplevelser ved ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 Herning Denmark vil millioner af ridesportsinteresserede fra hele verden ”kun” kunne følge VM-konkurrencerne gennem deres TV-skærme. Men VM er meget mere end det.
”På Zibrasport Equest skaber vi sammen med arrangørerne et community, hvor alle kan blive en del af VM – både op til og under mesterskaberne. Vi kommer bl.a. til at byde på forskelligt i VM-indhold i skrift, lyd og billede, samt indholdsformater hvor man selv kan engagere sig og blive en del af VM. Under mesterskaberne vil man kunne opleve top-springning og dressur fra VM-pladsen, samt få stemningen helt ind under huden – bl.a. fra VM-studiet, backstage og forskellige events på Zibrasport Equest scenen på eventpladsen. Vi ved, arrangørerne kommer til at skabe det bedste VM nogensinde, og vi glæder os til sammen med dem, at invitere alle med på rejsen og sætte Danmark på verdenskortet,” fortæller Rikke Højgaard, ansvarshavende chefredaktør på Zibrasport Equest.
Om ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 Herning

Denmark will host the World Championships in four equestrian disciplines from 6 – 14 August 2022 – ECCO FEI World Championships Herning Denmark. World Championship medals will be awarded in Jumping, Dressage, Para Dressage and Vaulting, and will take place in MCH Herning – the same location that framed the 2013 European Championships in three disciplines. The Organisers have reinvented the ticket sales, and it gives the audience the opportunity to have an additional experience at the World Championships.
”Recognizing that many would like to enjoy a little extra luxury, while following the sport closely from an ideal location, we have developed a completely new ticket system with First Class and Business Class tickets”, says Jens Trabjerg, Member of the Organising Committee. First Class and Business Class tickets are the first and only ticket categories to be opened this year, and it will take place on 15th November at 12 pm. There are limited seats, and it is only possible to buy these tickets for a limited period.
Ticket sales are expected to fully open in March 2021 to Stutteri Ask Stadium with room for 10,000 seated spectators as well as a VIP lounge with appurtenant skyboxes.
Tickets for additional luxury The First Class and Business Class tickets give access to a very special section at Stutteri Ask Stadium. The First Class section at Stutteri Ask Stadium welcomes the audience via its own entrance and with exclusive toilet facilities. In the lounge attached to the seating inside the stadium, a light meal as well as beer, water, wine and coffee will be available. The facilities offer space to relax during the breaks, enjoy good company with free access to food and beverages. The Business Class section does not have access to the lounge but has its own entrance and toilet facilities. In August 2022, equestrian enthusiasts from all over the world will turn their attention to Denmark and Herning. Danish equestrian sport will be hosting the prestigious World Championships in four equestrian disciplines.
– ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 Herning Denmark. The event organisers behind the World Championships experiences great support for the event, and most recently Helgstand Dressage has signed up for a main sponsorship. – I find it amazing to experience the great support we get from the largest Danish players in the industry, says Casper Cassøe who together with Jens Trabjerg are the organisers of Herning2022. – We experience that the World Championships has made everyone stand together in many ways which is very important in these difficult times. Helgstrand VIP Lounge The agreement between the Herning2022 company and Helgstrand Dressage includes several elements. Helgstrand Dressage will be the naming sponsor for the large VIP lounge inside the stadium – HELGSTRAND VIP LOUNGE, and in addition, Helgstrand Dressage will be the presenting sponsor for all Herning2022 competitions in dressage inside Stutteri Ask Stadium. Helgstrand Dressage will also be presenting sponsor for several of the jumping competitions in the same place.

Helgstrand Dressage is setting up a large, VIP Lounge of their own just outside the stadium.
